Vision and Values  |  Our Vision

Habakkuk 2:3 "Write the vision down and make it plain upon tablets."

We seek to be a prophetic church that catches God's heart for our future, prepares for the future, and becomes the future. At Trinity Christian Centre our vision has three aspects. It is focused on God, focused on the body and focused on the world.

Focused on God

Matthew 22:37-38 "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment."

According to Jesus' command, our first goal needs to be building relationship with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

  • Worship - Trinity seeks to be a worshipping church, to see dynamic, passionate worship that touches God's heart, reveals His will, transforms God's people and impacts the world.

We purpose to encourage each member of the church to develop a personal relationship with the Lord through a lifestyle of worship.
  • Prayer - Trinity seeks to be a praying church. Jesus said, "My house will be called a house of prayer." Matthew 21:13 We will make provision for many and varied corporate prayer meetings, to under gird everything that we do, as a church, in prayer.

We acknowledge our complete dependence on the Lord. God has ordained that, His provision for His people and His will being done on earth will be released through the intercession of His servants.

We acknowledge our intercessory authority in Christ for spiritual warfare and purpose to exercise that authority against spiritual strongholds that resist the plan of God on behalf of individuals, the body of Christ and the world.

Effective prayer and service comes through intimacy with God. Therefore our goal is to encourage each member of the church to deepen their relationship with the Lord through a lifestyle of personal prayer.
  • Anointing - We acknowledge that it is not by might, nor by power but by the Holy Spirit that we will be and do all that God has called us to. Zechariah 4:6 We seek to be a Spirit filled, Spirit led and Spirit empowered church.

We seek for each member of the church to receive a baptism of the Holy Spirit as an experience separate from salvation that begins to release a greater dimension of the presence and power of God in individual lives.

We will encourage each member to personally and corporately seek for an on-going infilling of the Holy Spirit, as we are commanded to do in Ephesians 5:18, "be filled with the Spirit".

We purpose to contend for more of God's presence, power and purpose that He wants to reveal in His corporate church and in our land.
