We seek to be a prophetic church that catches God's heart for our future, prepares for the future, and becomes the future. At Trinity Christian Centre our vision has three aspects. It is focused on God, focused on the body and focused on the world.
Focused on the World
Acts 1:8 "You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria and to the ends of the earth."
Our vision is to be a base church that is healthy and strong enough to minister effectively to our city, our nation and the world and becomes a centre from which the apostolic team can reach strategically into these regions.
- Jerusalem - Our Jerusalem is Victoria, the city where we live.
We seek to declare the gospel to every sector of society through character, good works, proclamation and power.
We seek to reach out in love to those who are disadvantaged, in prison and to feed and clothe the poor.
We purpose to reach out as individuals, together as a local church and corporately with other churches to cast a net over our city that would bring in a large harvest of souls.
- Judea - Our Judea is the NorthWest, the region where we live.
God wants alive, Spirit filled churches in each community. We purpose, in relationship with an apostolic/prophetic trans-local team, to encourage and build up established churches and to plant new churches as God leads us.
As we network with other churches and those that we plant, we are contending for a net over our entire region.
- Samaria - Our Samaria is the distinct cultural groups within our city and region.
We purpose to break down prejudices and any walls that would divide the body or keep the gospel from being received by any people group.
While valuing the richness of individual cultures, we reject the door by which the demonic enters our region through the worship of foreign gods and through all forms of idolatry. We seek to see those strongholds broken and Christ lifted up over our land.
We seek for dynamic churches to be planted in our First Nations communities and a relevant witness into each of the cultural groups in our city and region.
- Ends of the Earth - In relationship with an apostolic/prophetic trans-local team we seek to disciple the nations by planting churches as the Lord directs.
We seek to build relationships with those of like mind to interrelate and work together in more effectively reaching the whole earth.
We purpose to encourage individuals to experience short- and long-term outreaches to the nations.
