Doctrinal Statement

We believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God (2 Tim. 3:16; 1 Cor. 2:13).

We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit: distinguishable but indivisible (Matt. 28:19; 2 Cor. 13:14).

We believe in the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His incarnation, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal and bodily coming again (John 1:1, 14; Luke 1:26-35; 1 Cor. 15:1-4; Rom. 4:25; John 14:2-3; 1 Thess. 4:13-18).

We believe in the salvation of sinners by grace, through repentance and faith in the perfect and sufficient work of the Lord Jesus on the Cross of Calvary, by which we obtain remission of sins (Eph 2:8-9; Heb. 9:12, 22; Rom. 5-11).

We believe in the necessity of water baptism by immersion in order to fulfil the command of Christ (Matt. 3:16; 28:19; Acts 2:37-38; 8:36-39; 19:1-6).

We believe in the baptism with the Holy Spirit as an experience distinct from regeneration, in speaking in tongues as the privilege of every Spirit-baptized believer, and in the operation of the gifts of the Spirit as enumerated in 1 Cor. 12-14 (Acts 2:1-4; 8:14-17; 10:44-46; Gal. 3:14-15).

We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by Whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life (Acts 1:8; Rom. 8:13; 2 Cor. 3:18; Gal. 5:22; 1 Peter 1:2).

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved to everlasting life and the lost to eternal damnation (John 5:24; 3:16; Mark 9:43-50; 2 Thess. 1:8-9; Rev. 20:10-15).

We believe in the reality and personality of Satan and the eternal judgment of Satan and his angels (Matt. 25:41; Rev. 20:10-15).
