Who We Are  |  Deacons

TCC has a strong core of dedicated and committed deacons. Each deacon leads or co—leads a home group and is involved in the administration and life of the church.

Kevin Buhrman

Hailing from South Africa, Kevin has been involved in various areas of Trinity, including praise and worship and Kairos Kids. He also leads a home group, and is the proud father of three daughters. Together with a passion for worship, Kevin brings to the leadership team an enthusiasm to see the body equipped, free and functional, living in the reality of grace.

Jeremy & Nicole Dahl

Originally from Jamaica, Jeremy and Nicole moved to Canada in 2001, and upon their arrival the Lord led them to Trinity Christian Centre. They quickly committed themselves to the church and caught the vision of Trinity's leadership. God has since given them two sons and a heart for the youth, and they currently lead Trinity's youth group. Jeremy also heads up the multi-media team and is our main trouble-shooter in all things computer-minded.

Brynle and Faith Griffin

Bryn and Faith moved to Victoria from Saskatchewan in 2005. They both gave their lives to Christ at a young age and were married in 1985, after attending Bible College in Alberta. They have enjoyed raising their now teenage children. Trinity quickly became home after their arrival, and they have been on the leadership team since 2006. An appreciation for music has given their entire family many opportunities to serve in this area at Trinity.

Alex Hunter

After a no-going-back encounter with God at age 21, Alex has been committed to Trinity since 2000, joining the leadership in 2007. An English language teacher in Victoria, she has a heart for all cultures and languages. Her home group and friends welcome her spicy "nations" cuisine, and the saints humour her attempts at Spanish, French and Mandarin. Alex has fun 'playing' in the nursery, serving coffee, and greeting visitors on Sunday mornings. She also loves supporting the elders in their leading of God's people.

Ted and Wendy Jones

Both saved at Trinity in the mid-70's, Ted and Wendy married in 1976 and have 3 daughters and 1 son-in-law. They currently participate in the "Love in Action" ministry, which reaches out to long term care centres in the city. Called back into leadership at Trinity in 2006 they also lead a lively small group.

Carole Trudeau

Carole moved from Montreal in 1992 and has been part of the Trinity family since 2002. Carole feels privileged to be part of Trinity's enthusiastic leadership team. Currently running her own bi-lingual preschool, she is also a Kairos Kids teacher. Her heart is for the raising up of mighty children and strong families in God. Carole is a mother of four and grandmother of five.
